jeno hates ai & never uses chatgpt which means he probably goes through actual literature and books for sources while studying business and that makes him even sexier😭
SM has repeatedly thrown their artists under the bus with this McDonald's deal - Doyoung, Key, Minho, Shinee, Aespa, Riize, and now Mark. So why are you, NCTzens, acting like Mark made this decision entirely on his own?
So does that logic apply to the others too? You say he speaks English, he's chronically online, he's a grown man and so on...are you implying the others don’t? News about the genocide isn’t available in Korean? The rest aren’t online constantly either? the others aren't adults?
What is it about him that makes you all default to double standards every single time?
I’m not trying to drag other idols into this, but even back during the Starbucks campaign, Mark wasn’t the only one involved. Yet somehow, he was the one who got relentlessly blamed and name-called the most!
You’re the ones who put him on a pedestal, and the moment he does something that doesn’t align with your expectations, he’s suddenly the villain? Did he ever ask for that kind of pressure or idealization?
If the goal was to hold him accountable, then why has the past 48 hours been nothing but hate tweets? What exactly are you contributing to the cause you claim to care about? Has any of this outrage actually led to meaningful change or impact?
If you all had genuinely stuck to your boycott without crossing lanes, I doubt anyone would’ve come for you. But today, it’s clear that most of the people attacking Mark are hate-fueled stans who clearly don’t care about the actual issue.
Kfans have laid out their stance with reasoning and facts, yet many of you refuse to acknowledge or accept it. If you're going to stand firm on your narrative, then Kfans have every right to do the same.
From what I see, it’s mostly markfs who are actively protesting to SM through platforms like Kwangya 119 and Weverse. The rest? 99% are just spewing hate at Mark.
This is exactly why stan Twitter gets labeled as performative activists because so many are just hypocrites and haters in disguise.
According to The Korea Times and JoongAng Daily, McDonald’s Korea ended its royalty payments to McDonald’s U.S. headquarters in October 2024 after being sold to a new partnership led by Kamal Al Mana Group (Qatar). Since then, McDonald’s Korea has been financially independent from the U.S. branch.

I’ll refrain from commenting on the current campaign, but I’ll keep sharing updates on other aspects of Mark’s activities as usual.
i read through this and did some research myself (how I spent my 8 paid hours at work today), and honestly not as mad as i was before.
it’s also worth noting that the person handling McDonald’s Korea is the same one overseeing Turkey and Qatar. both of which have openly expressed support and donated to Gaza.
that said, it was still dumb of SM to go through with this given the current international political climate.

Apparently, some BBMs are complaining that they voted for BBM but Robredo came out of their receipt. Same scenario with Duterte and Pangilinan. I say this is Divine Intervention. 🤣
