Mert spent 3 days building an MVP and got real users actively trading prediction markets.
Thesis: Trading SOL prices was fast + fun + simple.

I’ll have spent around 45 days on my MVP once I release the trading module for @nexustoolsfun.

I should’ve integrated the trading module immediately after the alpha screener.

The end goal is a trading terminal, but instead of prioritizing that, I added 4-5 features first. I pushed the core value to the very end.

> That was a HUGE mistake.

I spent too much time shipping features instead of doubling down on 1-2 core things and aggressively searching for PMF / validating my thesis.

> So what caused this?

Fear.

Fear that once trading went live, it would invalidate my thesis.
Fear that no one would actually trade.
Fear that users were just tourists.

So I kept building instead of addressing what mattered.

> What now?

Trading goes live in the next couple of days. That’s when my thesis gets tested.

My consistent page views and low bounce rate won’t matter.
The only metrics I care about: Volume traded + numbers of users trading.

TBH. I am scared and very nervous introducing the trade module. I hope my worries are wrong.

> TLDR:
- Ship the core value first
- Keep the MVP slim with fewer features.
- Fear leads to procrastination + wasted time + money
- Test your thesis ASAP.
