Yes but we had 14 years of no adults in the room. We had 14 years of economic illiteracy at the worst time have left us so far behind where we should be.

I remember when a sitting member of their 2011 cabinet (tory not LD) came to my As level economics class at the grammar school i went to.

They didn't know how money was created and they didn't understand inflation. Then when grilled by my PHD in economics teacher about austerity they called him misinformed.

I was 6 weeks into an As in economics and i knew more about the economy than someone in the cabinet. Someone who came to an As class to effectively preach austerity without knowing what it was. That rudderless ship is why we are where we are.

However you blame Labour because it doesn't fit with your narrative.
