⚔️OPUS 4.8 vs OPUS 4.7 vs GPT 5.5:
VECTOR DESIGN BENCHMARK
The task was simple - design 7 distinct units for a game.
Creative direction was ultimately left to the models.
Which one do you like the most? 💡

@samtechcoded True but sometimes its reaction matches the situation perfectly! It's really easy to lose track of time especially with creative juices flowing
Yesterday I was hacking until 5am and after we built a feature it told me "it's 5 am, I pushed, good night."
It decided it's done for the night.
Agents are passively educating humanity.
Cursor knows about time for a while now. I actually get made fun of because I have a rule to try to fix my bedtime and people see the agent roast me in Slack
@oldgamesnob This is what i was trying to build and then shelved temporarily. I didnt like 3D models because mixamo and similar bone presets are too generic. And there's no cloth simulation.
@samtechcoded Such visual details simply aren't visible by models. Maybe try to find similar shaders for UE or something and tell the agents to do a similar math?
This is very interesting. If proven to work consistently, it could be the next step to inference based simulations.
I still think the expenses for running something like that might be extremely high but if they figured out a way to optimize this...
Impressive nonetheless.
Introducing Project Eden, a world model research preview from @VASTAIResearch
Project Eden is a persistent, multiplayer world model that fundamentally breaks from existing paradigms by decoupling the underlying world state from visual rendering.
Instead of treating the world as a sequence of transient frames, Eden treats it as a structured, evolving environment that runs continuously, can be modified by user actions, and can be consistently observed from any viewpoint.
@FoxyPenguinApe@sama The whole fearmongering comes from an economic slump where layoffs are a result of a market/business cycle, not AI replacing folks.
It would've happened anyway, AI or not.
The world is shouldering a lot of debt and the pandemic is still something that's being paid for.
