Project Star World is officially cancelled. We've decided to release what we did finish though just so it doesn't become lost media. Thanks for all of your support! https://t.co/GE7ohvMocM

@AgedWell_ We had a good run.

[Project Star World @starworldsmg]

We really wanted to finish this but nobody had the time to work on it due to other things going on in their lives. If anybody wants to revive the project then by all means go ahead. Just be sure to credit us if you end up using anything that we've released.

Project Star World is now completely open source! I'm sorry it took so long. You can find a link to the repository in the replies of this tweet!

It's been a hot minute, eh? Yeah we've been starting to edit some models to match those seen in the SMG E3 Demo. Here's one of them.

Beta Yoshi Star Galaxy alongside it's concept art and brief documentation on mechanics

Mario sounds good.

[Project Star World @starworldsmg]

@The_Nickolias Yes. I'd rather have the original ROM than a recreation.

Absolute pain. This text was found in the latest Nintendo leak.

Yet no ROM. Feelsbadman.

All of the E3 Lighting was also left in. 😎

[SPG64 @SPG642]

Fun Fact: ALL of the Lighting Data from Galaxy 1's cutscenes are still in the game. Here's the one from this scene for instance. (keep in mind that most of the cutscenes in this game are only video files)

We've been taking "note" of the extra HUD elements seen in the Super Mario Galaxy E3 2006 Demo.
