@Distractify I was there for a con he attended in August of 22…and he was nothing but sweet and amazing to fans despite not the best of moments that had to be handled.
@rosesbloomforya I enjoy many a movie where there are small productions and yes, with this one it was such a simple, beautiful movie. they all brought their A-game
By this point in filming The Dark Knight (2008), Heath Ledger was so immersed in the role that he performed the stunt himself, with the Joker’s ramblings as the Batpod approaches improvised on set.
For the dinner scene in Sicario (2015) Benicio del Toro cut 90% of his dialogue. The script featured a long speech explaining his revenge but he told Denis Villeneuve that his character did not travel there to talk. He went there to kill.
Such great movie…and this was a phenomenal moment. Top notch. Went in a fan of Michael B. Jordan & Haile Steinfeld…left a fan of Jack O’Connell…slowly enjoying his body of work.
In Sinners, Jack O'Connell said he knew he wanted the role the moment he read that Remmick sings and jigs to “Rocky Road to Dublin,” a childhood favorite he’d always dreamed of dancing to in a movie.
Michael Mann’s Thief was released 45 years ago today.
It helped popularize the look of wet-down streets at night. Water trucks were used to spray roads so neon lights and street lamps would reflect off the surface, enhancing the moody, cinematic feel.
@MyTimeToShineH loved the chemistry between the characters, felt like a real family/friend dynamic. Luv the color palette & retro feel. Was a version of Johnny Storm I could enjoy & believe in. Most versions didn’t entertain me. Chris Evan’s annoyed me. He was far superior as Cap America.
