Before Cristiano Ronaldo was with Georgina Rodriguez he was at some point in a long time relationship with one Russian model/actress Irina Shayk

They dated for about 5 years. And Ronaldo was head over heels Irina, he loved her so much. To a point that he engaged with her, he was planning to marry her

But the relationship started having cracks when Irina expressed her disapproval of the close relationship Ronaldo had with this mother. She wanted him to create distance with his mother

But for those who know Ronaldo's history that was impossible, considering how he grew up in so much poverty with only his mother trying her level best to make ends meet for him and other siblings

She basically put him in a position where he had to choose either his mother or her. In philosophical terms, the breast that gave him life or the breast that gave him pleasure

And it was an easy decision - he ended the relationship. Years later Cristiano has a big family with a woman who loves his mother. Meanwhile Irina is now a single mother to some Hollywood actor

Lesson: Any woman who makes you choose between her and your family, she's your enemy, cut her off right away
