At the end of the day, we’re just not a good team, and that’s hard to admit after what we thought we were following the Purdue game. There is more heart and more grit tonight, but effort alone doesn’t win games. You have to have talent, and right now, we simply don’t have it.
It’s officially time to panic. This is a full-blown wake-up call. JMI and Pope clearly aren’t aligned, and UK Athletics is heading in the wrong direction. We’ve officially hit ground zero. Something has to change—now.
Waking up this morning and we’re still at a loss for words. Nothing about this feels any better today. The more you think about it, the more it hits just how bad these games are slipping away—especially when they’re basically home games.
I don’t think we’ve ever watched a more discombobulated team than what we’re seeing right now. There’s no chemistry. No continuity. No identity. Nothing. It’s like every possession is a new adventure and nobody is on the same page.
Thank you Coach! You deserve all the gratitude for bringing this program to some heights we never thought we could reach. Best of luck moving forward and as always, Go Cats!!
I just find this so hard to believe watching BG this year. Maybe stop reading so much into analytics because we have looked so much better without him on the court this season. He hasn’t done anything.
@MagaMystic@TheFieldOf68@GoodmanHoops I think the biggest question around him right now is can he land some of these bigger recruits and he hasn’t proven that yet. I think he’s a great coach, but recruiting is the question mark. He was late to both of these recruiting classes though so only time will tell.
This team has issues and I think everyone knows that, most importantly Pope. Some of this is on Pope, but he also can’t fix these guys attitude, work ethic, and camaraderie. It’s early and we’re missing 2 key guys on this roster. Don’t throw in the towel just yet. #BBN#UK#Pope
