Rape gangs. At least 1,400 children exploited in Rotherham, some as young as 11 raped by multiple perpetrators. Staff feared being called racist, the Jay report found. More than 1,000 children in Telford, where the inquiry found police "turned a blind eye". 1,273 closed cases from 23 forces are under review, ITV reports. How many more did the system abandon?
@hayke02@Nobody31081993 they work by getting a bunch of thick cunts like you to work for free, not paying any taxes and then pocketing the difference you leftist twat!
The RNLI's chief executive: a ยฃ217,302 package. Some of its volunteers are likely owed the minimum wage, its own 2025 accounts say. Its auditor qualified those accounts because the charity couldn't put a figure on the bill.

Every figure comes from the official reports. Read them yourself.

Now explain to me little girl which part was bullshit again?

Over ยฃ1 million on supersized police uniforms. That is what forces have spent, FOI figures obtained by The Sun show, including 282 XXXXL vests in two years, big enough for a 68-inch chest. The Met had trousers made with a 60-inch waist. Lincolnshire paid almost ยฃ90,000 for 149 sets. So much for fitness standards. Who chases the criminals now?
Stabbed, then handcuffed as he lay dying. Henry Nowak, 18, told Hampshire officers he was hurt, bodycam footage showed, the BBC reports. Now the Home Secretary has ordered an independent review into missed chances to stop his killer. Kemi Badenoch: "There must be proper accountability for those who failed Henry and his family." Why did it take ten months?
Downing Street won't say if the Prime Minister backs Brexit. Days after Andy Burnham called for an honest discussion on bringing back free movement, his spokeswoman insisted he "isn't proposing" it, then declined to say whether he supports Brexit, the Express reports. Now he says there would be no free movement without a public vote. So where does he stand?
Another Labour voice against the 15-year wait. Sadiq Khan has urged Shabana Mahmood to show "compassion" and oppose retrospective changes to indefinite leave to remain, the Telegraph reports, joining Rayner and Fahnbulleh. Andy Burnham won't back the 15 years either. Chris Philp says she should resign if she can't pass it. Can this government tighten a single border rule?
"We can't return people." Burnham has blamed Brexit for the small boats crisis, telling ITV migrants come knowing they won't be sent back. He wants Britain back in the EU in his lifetime. Crossings began in 2018, two years before Brexit; 213,000 have arrived since. Farage calls it a betrayal of Brexit voters. Whose failure: Brexit's, or the Home Office's?
The Home Office detains people to remove them. Then it bails most of them.
In the year to June 2026, 21,517 people left immigration detention. Just 9,888 (46%) were returned from the UK. 10,908 (51%) were released on immigration bail. The rest were granted leave or left for other reasons.
It was not always like this. In 2010, 64% of those leaving detention were removed and 34% were bailed. Bail peaked at 86% in 2021, when just 13% were removed, and removals have recovered since. But the majority still walk out of the gate rather than onto a plane.
Figures from January 2026 onwards are provisional.
A State of Britain analysis of Home Office immigration detention statistics, 2010 to year ending June 2026.
If half the people detained for removal are released again, what is detention for?
ยฃ400,000, and no apology. The BBC has settled with Oscar-winning Jewish filmmaker Lucie Kon, who says colleagues called Zionists 'evil' and bullied her out after October 7, the Mail reports. The payout, part-funded by the licence fee, admits no liability. 'I lost my job as a result,' she said. Why does the BBC pay but never admit anything?
Workers in a British charity's uniforms appeared in videos from a Gaza group the US Treasury says Hamas controls, the Telegraph reports. The Charity Commission has opened a compliance case into Restless Beings after a dossier from UK Lawyers for Israel. The east London charity "categorically rejects" the allegations. How many aid charities' Gaza partners has the regulator ever checked?
Nothing off the table. Housing Secretary Angela Rayner would not rule out any part of Andy Burnham's EU rethink on the BBC today, a day after the Prime Minister put free movement up for discussion. Nigel Farage calls it "a total betrayal of Brexit Britain". Kemi Badenoch said most Brexit voters wanted free movement ended. Did anyone vote for this?
"A gravy train for insiders." Scottish Tory Craig Hoy's verdict as a Sunday Times investigation finds 800 public sector staff paid ยฃ27 million a year with no permanent post. One NHS Highland employee has drawn full pay for 17 years. The SNP banned compulsory redundancies in 2007. John Swinney backs it. How long should taxpayers fund jobs that don't exist?
@tomhfh A +10 lead and they'd go early, before the free movement 'honest discussion' turns into a manifesto line!
Meanwhile 90,341 asylum appeals are waiting at the tribunal, up 172% since June 2024.
Vote Restore!
@GBNEWS Ruled out in Labour's own 2024 manifesto. Now free movement is 'not off the table'.
Almost 3,800 people are already waiting in the Calais and Dunkirk camps, double the usual!
A total betrayal of Brexit, and everyone knew it was coming from these lot! https://t.co/lNRgeOM9pp
Free movement is back on the table. Prime Minister Andy Burnham wants a discussion about returning to it with the EU, he told the Sunday Times, the Standard reports, ahead of a Brussels summit on 20 November. Nigel Farage calls it "a total betrayal of Brexit Britain." The public voted to end free movement. Why is Labour reopening it?
@NotFarLeftAtAll Labour and the Tories have both had their turn, and left this country worse off than they found it!
Vote Restore! The only party that can clear out illegals and make this a better country.
@RobertJenrick Every single word of it.
NHS trusts have recovered less than ยฃ1 in 6 of the maternity bills sent to overseas visitors.
British taxpayers fund the system, and it's high time British people came first in it!
