I’m not a fan of the ‘larp trend’ going around, but I am ESPECIALLY not a fan of people larping as the deceased TO the deceased’s friends/family.
I’m not really sure what else to say besides it is so uncomfortable and disrespectful. There are WAY better ways to honor a legacy.
this whole larptuber trend just feels very...bleugh
normal larp channels feel weird and skinwalker like in the first place but the fact that some people want to associate their online presence as roleplaying mega cancelled creators or literal creators that have passed away is...
Larping Markiplier and Jacksepticeye is fine because it's just all of us coming together to reminisce without directly hurting any creators. It's all in good fun.
Larping a dead creator and doubling down even after his friends and family call you out just makes u a monster.
friendly reminder:
you can start anytime.
you can brush your teeth in the middle of the day. you can wash the dishes at 2am. you can do things outside the normal times assigned by society.
i worry that some people forget that alex was a human being and not just some mythical Minecraft legend. he was a real person with friends and a family who adore him and miss him every day.
