still can't get over all those first good omens s3 reviews and every single one of them calling it perfect fanservice ending to the show, like wtf was that
we’re all laughing but this type of attitude towards Aziraphale is supported by the writing of the show. it never addresses his religious trauma and internalization of celestial hierarchy in any meaningful way. it just ends up making him look stupid and mean. and he isn’t.
It kills me how #GoodOmens3 came to the conclusion that every angel & demon had to go in order for humanity to be free when the Supreme Archangel Gabriel himself, the guy who pushed for Armageddon in s1, ended up changing his mind after falling in love with a demon.
I'll never get over Crowley giving us absolutely NOTHING when Aziraphale asked God why she'd give him Crowley only to take him away. 😂 Everyone's like, "He didn't react because he already knew!!!" Oh yeah, I'm sure. 😂
If Terry Pratchett did, as I read somewhere, insist that the delivery man in S1 be brought back to life and Adam have no blood on his hands, there is zero chance in my mind that Terry Pratchett himself would have okayed this ending as it stands. Zero chance.
Aziraphale deserves to suffer in fanfictions. But not because I hate her, but because I like when they’re taken care of. Like yes, injure them and make Crowley freak out. It’s yummy to me
genuinely incomprehensible that the longest they had ever been apart in 13 years since they first met was two and a half weeks one time 😭😭😭 how are they real
