I’m realizing there’s a fine line between pursuing justice and enabling envy.

Seems all the left does is enable envy and covetousness.

I am a sub-contractor doing fire sprinklers. There is no such thing as "sorry, i underbid your job, completed it, closed out the contract, and realized it was actually misquoted by us... Please pay us the difference we should have written the contract for in the first place"
You either bite the bullet and complete the contract, ask for a change order for the missing amount (fat chance anyone would agree), or reverse any work started (replace torn up yard, etc) and back out of the contract.
For the sake of your reputation, it's best if you just get through it and complete the job

maybe something is wrong with me, but once I schlepped it back to my place, set it up and found the cash, I would have no issue keeping the money and would not have even mentioned it. If he had stopped me before leaving and asked to look, and collected it, then fair game... It was in the machine... I bought it fair and square.

i am a contractor... this is his crew's mistake and he should eat it... there's no concept of "you have the benefit of it and should pay something" if that one job is going to kill your business, you shouldn't be in business. Mistakes happen all the time in construction, trust me I've made some doozies in my time and i've had great successes... Just take your lumps and move on.

@SDSLLC_USA I use full synthetic for my oil changes and do them myself. Granted I use the expensive stuff (Amsoil) but the supplies cost $100. A less expensive brand would still be around 80 for everything... so $150-$200 seems like it would be right to have a shop do it.

this is what i don't understand about all the women who are militaristic about calling men who like to cosplay as women "actual women" from my male POV I have no clue what the actual physical experiences of women are other than my exterior observations. Just the physical and emotional changes a woman experiences from hormonal fluctuations month to month is something that no man can know simply by being artificially pumped full of hormones at levels his body was never intended to handle.
The mind and body go hand-in-hand and for a man to come along and say (because he feels "off" in his mind") that he is and always was something other than a man makes no logical or even philosophical sense to me.

oh boy... I work in fire protection designing fire sprinkler systems. this is right up there with "sprinklers cause more damage than the fire did" argument...
No you don't need one... until you need it.... then you'll REALLY regret your decision as you're standing outside watching your home burn down waiting for the fire department to get there.
Second matter in a fire, they grow exponentially

weightlifting... really pushing yourself to lift heavy weights resets your nervous system... at least it did with mine... also, take some Krav Maga training and train hard. find one that does some serious attacker stress tests... You're forced to control your anxiety and remember your training... Suddenly the world wont seem so stressful when you know you can handle yourself in a dark alley and disarm an attacker.
