It is practise before a change of administration not to spend too much cause those items are always investigated .. ie suspect corruption even if none had happened .. hampers and creates back logs ..

Now let’s talk about William Nicol . That road specifically falls within City of JHB and Joburg Roads agency …what I may suspect may have happened the budget for JHB only got passed a few weeks .. the mess of administration last year due to the deaths of the mayors .

And I would like to mention that it is outside the scope of work and duties of a minister of transport to be involved in the maintenance of municipal roads .. so tweeting him is silly and shows poor understanding of who you need to shout at …this goes for @Anele and anyone else.

In South Africa .. different roads /streets fall under specific organisations .. there is a difference between roads maintained by province , national (sanral) .. and the city ..the framework is set at a national level and implemented by the organs .
