I am not a journalist but work around them everyday. Read this post - the careful use of words like “powerful” they are used with purpose. I can not even remotely share the level of bias in newsrooms. You should read their internal message boards. They even have guidance in the news industry about shortened retention of these messages so they would not be available in a legal proceeding.

And…. Journalists wonder why there are so many layoffs. Subscriptions have declined, trust has eroded, biases exposed, advertising disappeared. You have to have a good business to produce content and good fair no biased journalism to bring in the audience to sell advertising. Not hard
