Rangers weren’t relegated.
The SFA transferred the club’s membership to the new company. That’s the same club.
The SPL clubs voted no to giving that company the top-flight share. The SFL then took them in the Third Division.
That’s a vote on which league they play in. It is not a vote that the club was born in 2012.
@0420h3id@Battlefeverpod Irrelevant
/ɪˈrɛlɪv(ə)nt/
Definition: Something that has no bearing on, application to, or connection with the subject being discussed.
You're proving yourself wrong 😂😂
@0420h3id@Battlefeverpod If they were irrelevant, they wouldn't exist, and you wouldn't be posting about them 😂😂 They were saved because they were in fact relevant.
@0420h3id@Battlefeverpod The cognitive dissonance here 😂😂 Claiming Rangers are irrelevant, while most of your replies are all about Rangers. So how can they be irrelevant? They're your favourite subject 🤣🤣
There's no need to argue, you're proving yourself wrong 🤣🤣
If they were irrelevant to you, you wouldn't be wasting your time saying they're irrelevant, would you? 🤔
Plus, I can see your posts and replies, they're clearly more than relevant to you. They're your favourite subject 😂😂
@SeanMcc244878 Don't know if it notified you when I posted this. I'm still figuring this thing out.
The OP blocked me, so I can't reply in that thread anymore. A few have blocked me now, you just can't handle the truth 😂😂
You said: "had gretna had the fan base and following of rangers they would've been in same position as rangers"
And what position is that? 🤔 That's you admitting Rangers survived 😂😂
They're not a Phoenix Club, like Gretna 2008.

@SeanMcc244878@WingsScotland@Freewheeler12 That's just how it works, man 😂😂 If it's viable to save a club, then it will be saved. If it's not then it'll be left to die. Just like Gretna.
Glad to see you're now admitting Rangers survived 👏 But you’re calling it corruption just because you don’t like the outcome.
That’s Donald Findlay’s opinion in a newspaper.
Plenty of clubs changed company like Rangers but stayed the same club, Fiorentina are one.
Gretna 2008 on the other hand shows the process of a brand new club.
The commission, the SFA and Doncaster treated Rangers as the same club under a new company.
A QC’s feelings don’t overwrite that. Neither do yours.
We’re talking about football here. Shankly was saying what a club is to the people who follow it. That’s football talk.
Calling him unqualified just changes the subject.
Nobody supports a limited company while cheering on the guy at the printer with his name on the back of their shirt.
They support a football club. Shankly defined it.
You’re mixing religion with science. They don’t correlate.
Most of what you’re talking about predates Islam. Euclid, Indian numerals, Galen.
Later scholars in Baghdad used Arabic under Muslim rulers, yes.
But that doesn’t make the knowledge Islamic. Just like Newton's physics isn't Christian. Why make it about religion?
A football club is not the same thing as the company that runs it. Bill Shankly put it this way:
“At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.”
What matters to fans is their club, the people, the continuity, the identity. That's how it began, not as a company, that came later to run the business side.
The stadium, training ground, kit and contracts are only the tools on a balance sheet. Company law sees the company and those assets. It does not see the actual club as supporters understand it.
The fans are not an asset. They cannot be put on the balance sheet, traded or liquidated, so the law does not see them.
The limited company that writes the cheques sits outside that trinity. Shankly was clear the directors were necessary. He was also clear they were not the point of the club.
