Congratulations to all the boys and girls on their graduation day today. I'm so proud of you all and the funny, thoughtful and hard-working people that you've all become over the past two years.
We're back and I don't think there's anywhere we would rather have been today!! We spent the day catching up, playing games and we even took advantage of the good weather and planted some sunflower seeds outside.
I told the class we'd continue the countdown to the big day! Hope you're all staying safe and well and are very excited for Christmas! It's definitely a different one this year but we spoke loads about what we can enjoy and look forward to this year! π
Such a special moment for the class in a crazy year to be in the crowd of Croke Park when no one else is allowed. I hope you're all tuning in to spot our Support from the Stand pictures. #COYBIB
We were chosen for a special task this week in Room 1A! It's been a strange year in all aspects of life but we still want to support our county. It's great to be involved and #supportfromthestands@SuperValuIRL
We've been doing data again this week and the focus was block graphs. Every morning when the class come in they've been voting on different topics. Today it just had to be about Friday ππΌππΌ
We finished our tree projects this week on the oak tree beside the yard. Over the past few weeks we have been watching the change as the seasons changed from Summer to Autumn and now the winter weather is beginning to show. The class really enjoyed documenting the changes!

How well did the class's elephant art for our theme of India turn out? All drawn, painted and decorated by the children themselves. Their skills are amazing! ππΌ
We're also learning about schools in the past this month. It was a much tougher time in schools years ago. We're learning that we're very, very lucky to not be following these rules anymore!
This week we're doing my favourite maths topic, data!!! I love asking questions and making graphs with the class. Today each group made their own pictogram. They turned out really well!!
Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone! I hope you've all had a relaxing time off so far. I know how much the children in Room 1A love drawing and colouring so I thought I'd share this website for some Halloween ideas if they are looking for some art to do https://t.co/O6V3CnRUiwπ
