The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem has declared today a day of fasting and prayer for peace in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory.
We back Pope Francis and other faith leaders who have been calling and praying for peace.
This Thursday we celebrated International Day of Peace in school. Tomorrow we will be part of the celebrations in Woking Town centre at Mercia Walk between 12pm and 1pm. Do go and see the exhibit if you're free.
Today is Education Sunday and we were very proud of our children who represented us at our parish Mass. It was a lovely community celebration, reminding us that Jesus is always with us as our role model🙏🥰
Bishop Richard came to celebrate Mass at St. Dunstan's Church this evening and to bless the memorial statue for Canon Frank Harrington. The statue is of the Holy Family. It is beautiful. Father Rob welcomed Canon Frank's family to our parish Mass for this special occasion🙏❤️
VIDEO | Pope Francis at the Way of the Cross of #WYD#Lisbon2023: "The Cross is the greatest meaning of the greatest love...Do not forget this, no one has greater love than the one who gives his life, and Jesus taught us this."
We pray for the young adults who are journeying to Lisbon today as a response to the Holy Father's invitation to join him at World Youth Day. May the Lord bless them and fill them with new life and new hope in Christ.
We pray for all young people as they seek to respond to God's call, in particular for those have responded by saying yes to the call to go on pilgrimage. May they be blessed with a comfortable journey and and uplifting, faith filled experience.
