People are mad but he’s right. I personally don’t watch a lot of films except for MMFF and whatever blockbuster my sisters drag me to but Filipino films are good!! They may not be as flashy as the big Hollywood films but they are pretty good and not as bad as people keep saying.

I kinda want to pick up 9rip again at some point but I forgot like every plot point and tbh I think I’ll just skip the underworld routes because I find them boring and they’re not for me

My Norn9 physical copy comes with cards and I love it when physical copies of games come with extras because the Switch case is too big for all the empty space

I also wish The Odyssey was more fantastical? I’m not a fan of this sort of obsession with gritty realism in fantasy and the movie is more magical realism than mythological epic

Watched The Odyssey and it really does seem a bit like a WW2 movie. I liked it but I don’t think it quite captures the epic feel of the poem and also they didn’t include some of my favorite bits from the poem

Played through a good chunk of Birushana last night and I love Noritsune so far. Great intro route. Tbh I’m not looking forward to Benkei since I’m not a fan of his design or old man routes (except Hanzo from Nightshade)

I’m currently on Birushana (just started my first route) and I think I’ll be playing When Stars Collide after because Steamberry is my favorite indie dev and I still haven’t played it and it’s finished now. Or finished the three Gilded Shadows routes I still haven’t done yet

I think people should stop being ashamed of what they enjoy and I love vns, otome games and classic literature. No I don’t think I’ve read a vn that measures up to the best classics I’ve read but who cares? They’re fun and I love them
