Pretty much since starting listening to music seriously Eyvind Kang has been ever present in what I’ve been listening to at the time. Already having many albums appearing on or composing this thread is to catalogue and encourage to continue the collection. Will try post 1 a week
@emuaarubeeque I’m a believer than some of the best music was only ever released on cd and never vinyl. So many people that think they’re ‘in to’ music turned their noses up to cds back in the day.
@CompositeGuy_ It was the penultimate series and when you even look at the final series 50% of the contests in each episode are white men. Maybe it was their humor that was lacking, but for a show of 19yrs and the world getting sillier it was always going to run out of steam.
@AaronBastani This was a Lib Dem policy that came in after the 2008 FC to help combat/support those who were being taken advantage of on zero hr contracts. Many businesses reduced staff, rehired on short hr contracts etc. Tax relief helped those who couldn’t get more hours, often on low wages.
@Kurt_W25 Took me by surprise when I first heard this. Wished I’d got a hold of it 25yrs ago. Drumming on this album is ace, track Kripa would fit on any EK album. If you’re into this then maybe Møster! might be of interest. Saxophone lead jazz metal - https://t.co/UMfH0qq2u1
This is the HQ of Avis Capital. It claims to be one of the largest companies in the UK, with £58bn in assets and 31% returns promised to investors.
Except it's all a lie.
Here's how regulatory failures are letting international fraudsters create massive fake UK companies.
Animal Collective: Feels 2005. Indie. Being more on the experimental side of pop and having vocals made for grooming teenagers the album has appeal. With lots going on and plenty of variety it rarely bores. Hidden amongst the layers Eyvind Kang’s violin appears on some tracks

Bill Frisell: History, Mystery 2008. Jazz. A large band accompany Bill on this album which consists mainly of original compositions. The 2 cds worth of music are a pleasant listen with the horns and strings giving great depth. Eyvind Kang joins again playing Viola.
@_miasmah The sound track to The Terror gave me chills (as does most of his music). Wanted to hear it in isolation, so to find out there’s more to come is special.
