I could have invested in Macintosh in its early days and I didn’t. I found the Cult of Mac distasteful with it’s overzealous ideologues and it’s self described “tech evangelicals”. I also disliked its polarizing leader at the time who was a visionary but who was notoriously hard to work for. Microsoft had broader adoption and was easier to work with. I swore off the snobby polarizing tech of Apple.

Fast forward to today. I write this from an iPhone. I am in a household full or Apple products. I still use a PC but I am in the minority in my own home. I see so many of the same characteristics today that apply to Cardano in the cryptocurrency space as I once saw in Apple. Now I get it. I use the technology and I see where its strengths lie.

I also understand in the recent leaked transcripts why Vitalik contemplated asking @IOHK_Charles to come back to run $ETH after he had left and many didn’t want to have to work for him. Tenacious, demanding, and outspoken Steve Jobs had been pushed out once too.

I strongly believe many crypto currencies will succeed. But today the Cult of Cardono, is exactly why I chose it as my largest crypto investment. I don’t want to risk making the same mistake twice.

Cardano and its apologists can be overly sensitive. They are easy to poke fun at and joke about and engagement farm off of. But that very same tenacity makes them dedicated, knowledgeable and loyal. And I, for one, recognize what I see and will not bet against it again.
