@HandmadeElaine thank you!

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@SoimosanAndrei think I fixed it but let me know

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@SoimosanAndrei hey, sent you a dm

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@kazama_andy What do you mean? Are you referring to the game giveaways? The harddrive crashed and I'm currently working on getting online.

@GiuseppeM8 Calculator and Games tabs aren't as dependent on the database as other sections of the website.

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@HandmadeElaine Thank you! That means a lot!

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@skrcpust @irxson Hey! I'm still waiting for the drive to arrive at my hosting company. Hopefully soon!

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

Data recovery centre was able to recover 100% of the data. Now they just need to send it back.

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@GiuseppeM8 The drive is unfortunately not in my hands. It depends how fast they work on things.

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@dgsorey20111 @FreeSteamKeysME Thanks for the support. I really appreciate it!

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@steamcompanion Using an older backup, no matter how recent, will force people to lose their winnings / CV. So I'm trying to prevent that.3

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@steamcompanion Hosting company unfortunately doesn't have any redundancies / image backups and my last backup isn't that recent. (2/3)

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

Sent a request to the hosting company to send the drive to a data recovery company. It'll cost +$400 assuming they can recover it (1/3)

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

OS is reinstalled. Got to setup the server and config files now.

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

@steamcompanion I'm not sure how long this will take. I'm going to have to setup the server again and hopefully recover all the data. :(

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

My hosting provider told me that the HD is spitting out write errors. They said they'll need to replace the HD and reinstall the OS.

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

Server will be back up shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience

[Steam Companion @steamcompanion]

Think I fixed some of the performance issues. Things should run a lot faster now!
