@silenceresting@ryan_murton@vicderbyshire@MattChorley If an mp is voted in by their constituents, that’s democratic. Any mp can become leader of the party.
It’s not my fault you don’t understand the parliamentary system. We don’t vote for a president. You vote for a party, and that party can have any mp as leader.
@silenceresting@ryan_murton@vicderbyshire@MattChorley Please point me to the law where it says a newly elected mp cannot become leader of their party? I’ll wait.
You vote for the individual mp, you don’t vote for a prime minister.
@silenceresting@ryan_murton@vicderbyshire@MattChorley No he shouldn’t. That’s not how the parliamentary system works. The British public do not vote for an individual prime minister, they voted for an mp in a party. Any mp can become leader of that party.
@Kupilainen@lost_in_tech@eurobvision Calling something crap isn’t hate… it’s being honest. It was crap. 1 point from the Ukranian jury… and probably a political point because the U.K. sends them so much support in the war against Russia.
@lost_in_tech@Kupilainen@eurobvision God I wish I was paid. It’s not “hate” it’s just accepting that a song was crap, and that’s why it got zero points.
@thefuzzball40@verityrf@lukewbm@BBC@bbceurovision The comment section was FULL of “look mum no points”. We need need to argue about this though… the public gave the song zero points. My point is proven.
