So there it is. City are a bigger club than Chelsea. Manager signs a long term deal, wins trophies but when the big brother comes knocking they answer. Hahaha
@gbellseattle Fixed it for you. “What Iran’s gay people have gone through the dictatorship — being stoned and thrown off of buildings — in this life is unbelievable. And cruel.”
As someone who’s lived in both for 20 years each…it depends. Want your basic freedoms? America it is (slowly going away though) Want an easier life, less drama and more things to do…? it’s Europe. America is young and can’t compete with the beauty of Europe. Both great though
As a collective you are absolutely anti-English. Your “pub sources” maybe didn’t get the full picture of the Scots trip as I had Scottish friends at the game and out on the town for a few nights. There was issues with fighting and racist chants. Cops got involved too.
Some reaction to this. Bostonians, me included, are not anti-English. But we are anti-idiotic behaviour. Sources in the pub trade and in the police have said that a small number of English fans did cause trouble and had plans for more on Tuesday. They ruined it for everyone else.
It’s a heatwave. You plan accordingly, never leave your home with out a bag of essentials in your car for these exact situations. You don’t do that…this happens. Traveling without water…smart. Proactive instead of reactive.
A constituent has been stuck on the M25 near Oxted for 8 hours. It is 40 degrees in her car. She has kids with her. She is running out of water. The person from the car in front has been airlifted to hospital with dehydration. Police seem to be saying it’s not their job to give out water.
@SurreyPolice@NationalHways please sort this out urgently.
People need water and some may need evacuation. You have protocols for this situation - please implement them - this is an emergency! 🙏
Been all over the world and experienced amazing storms but I will always remember a random lightning and thunderstorm in Newark (near Coventry) when I was a kid. Thunder and lightning every second for 30 minutes straight. Was amazing.
London has developed thunder so loud, that I was awakened wondering if we were under attack right now in the UK. I don’t recall ever hearing something like this on a previous visit. Wild.
@davidpollack47@USMNT Think of a team in an inferior division that does well but the second a team with talent comes along they get destroyed…that’s the US
between Henry Nowak, the beheading attempt in Northern Ireland, the rape gang report, and the 3 year old boy thrown into the crocodile pit, I genuinely don't understand how the entirety of the UK is not engulfed in flames right now
Love that England is in so many heads. Irish, Scottish, American all moaning about England…and the best part is that not a single England fan cares. Love the banter and watching the triggered comments.
Everyone and their mother hates England due to the past. Even when England aren’t involved supporters go out of their way to mock England so why can’t it go the other way? Todays English are having a good time so be it. You clearly don’t understand banter.
Dunno what it is, I’m an England fan but every other country has managed to celebrate without dragging another country’s team/supporters down.. but England just can’t do that for some reason? They just seem so hostile and volatile
