As my friends in the labor movement said: We're not going to stop until AI works for us, not the billionaires.
Listen to what we had to say about AI oligarchs trying to replace workers with robots.
I stand in strong solidarity with workers at Caesars Horseshoe casino in Indianapolis who are on strike against corporate greed.
If Caesars can afford to pay its CEO $18 million and spend $50 million on stock buybacks, it can afford to treat all of its workers with respect.
CEO Carol Tomé’s surprise visit to UPS in Plainfield, Indiana did not go as planned. Local 135 members crashed the party with a parking lot rally and show of force that sent Tomé running for cover. https://t.co/6IgsMYVFzq
Great call! I’m looking forward to running with this team and then working with this team in the future! ✊ Victor is a hell of a guy and a solid labor leader. #OZ2026#O’Brien/Roach
MINEROS OF CALIFORNIA JOINS TEAMSTERS GENERAL EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Teamsters General Executive Board convened its first meeting of 2025 at Teamsters headquarters in Washington, DC, on Tuesday — and welcomed a strong labor leader to its ranks.
Victor Mineros, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 396 in Southern California, was officially sworn in today, joining the board as an International Western Region Vice President.
Lindsay Dougherty, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 399 in Los Angeles, was unanimously named an International Vice President At-Large on the Teamsters board. A former Western Region leader, Dougherty fills the seat vacated by outgoing At-Large Vice President Joan Corey of Teamsters Local 25 in Boston. Corey is tackling a new role supporting the Future Leaders program for young Teamsters across the International Union.
“Rank-and-file Teamsters across the country will benefit from having the experience and leadership of Victor Mineros of Teamsters Local 396 on this powerful General Executive Board,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. “Local 396 is home to the very first union of Amazon Teamsters, and Victor knows how to take on UPS and win big for our members — he’s not afraid of a fight. As we dive into another year of growth for the International Union, the Teamsters are better positioned than ever to protect our members coast-to-coast.”
Throughout the day on Tuesday, General Executive Board members reviewed the Teamsters’ organizing strength, investments in member communications and political action, and received reports on the state of the union from O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer Fred Zuckerman.
TEAMSTERS STRIKE 10 ROADS EXPRESS
More than 500 Teamsters drivers at 10 Roads Express, one of the largest private contractors for the United States Postal Service (USPS), have been forced to strike across eight states over the company’s unfair labor practices and refusal to bargain in good faith. Despite the critical role these drivers play in keeping mail moving across the country, 10 Roads has continued to present an insulting and unrealistic contract proposal.
The strike has the potential to disrupt U.S. mail delivery across the country and will continue until 10 Roads Express presents a fair contract offer to the Teamsters.
“We move the mail safely and on time, but 10 Roads Express is not treating us with the fairness and respect we deserve,” said Keith Damguard, a nine-year driver at 10 Roads Express in Omaha and a member of Teamsters Local 554. “We’re done with the unfair treatment from a company that takes millions from USPS while leaving workers behind. We will not accept anything less than what we have earned and deserve.”
BREAKING: Warehouse workers at Amazon's DBK4 facility in Queens, N.Y., have walked out to join striking Amazon Teamsters drivers on the picket line.
On the roads, in the warehouses, and in the air hubs, The Teamsters Union will organize every Amazon worker and ensure workers at one of the world’s richest companies finally get paid what they deserve.
Despite Amazon being a $2 trillion company, half of Amazon workers can’t pay their bills and are experiencing food and housing insecurity.
Amazon workers are tired of working for poverty wages for the second largest corporation in the world while the e-commerce giant refuses to bargain, and that’s why they are striking to win the Teamsters contract they deserve.
Great evening visiting some of our Flight Attendants based in Pittsburgh! We had a wonderful time and great conversation. A HUGE shoutout to our new Pittsburgh based Stewards for hitting the ground running and organizing this get together! #MeetingMembersWhereTheyreAt
We are done with the secret write-ups and low pay. It is time that our hard work is respected and fairly compensated!

BREAKING: We just demanded union recognition at KSBD -- Amazon's largest air hub on the West Coast! We've been organizing for years and today a majority of us came together to demand that Amazon recognize us as Teamsters and bargain a union contract!
We are ready to strike to stop Amazon’s unfair labor practices. Amazon is legally required to bargain a union contract that addresses our low pay and unsafe working conditions. We are going to hold this company accountable. Click the link to get started organizing your facility!
🚨BREAKING: Amazon Teamsters at DTG5 in Georgia marched on Amazon to say we are a union!
We demand Amazon have a seat. We are fighting for the wages, safety and respect that we all deserve.
If you aren’t sure if the boss is making you be on-call without fairly paying you, or suspect your local fair scheduling laws are being violated, or have questions about your rights, just call the wage-and-hour besties. Just ask! They’re chill.
