St Edmund Campion Catholic School exists as part of a partnership of home, parish and school, which together educate and pass on the faith to our children.
Our students took part in the Opening Mass and completed their first shift in the Accueil, showing great kindness and care while supporting others throughout the day.
Lots of smiles, teamwork and new experiences already #LourdesPilgrimage#FaithInAction@stedcamp
Our students joined the Reconciliation Service and walked the Stations of the Cross together before ending the day heavily involved in the beautiful Torchlight Procession.
A moving and memorable experience for all of our students #LourdesPilgrimage@stedcamp
Our Lourdes Pilgrims attended the Blessing of Hands Mass last Sunday and are now ready and excited to depart this weekend! We will be thinking of them and praying for them. @bishopwalsh@stedcamp
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.
A busy day for our sixth formers and staff travelling on pilgrimage to Lourdes this May half term. Today they travelled, mostly on foot, to 8 of our Multi Academy Schools to collect prayer petitions completed by members of each school.
A 13.5 mile round trip!

In the Church, the month of May is known as the month of Mary, our Mother. Throughout the next few weeks, Year 7 pupils will be coming to the Chapel every morning to pray the Holy Rosary. We will be praying for peace around the world and for peace in our own lives.
Today, our student chaplains had a wonderful time @stanthonys124, painting handprints, singing hymns and getting to know some of the newer residents! It was a delight to see the students growing in confidence as they continued to interact and form friendships.
Today, we bid a fond farewell to our amazing Y13 pupils. Thank you to Fr Gerry who celebrated a Mass in thanksgiving for all of their time at St. Edmund Campion!
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer," (Romans 12:12)
In readiness for their exams, Y11 celebrated Holy Mass with Father Gerry. Together, they prayed that they may approaching the coming weeks with faith, endurance and hope.
"Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit," (John 15:5)
Yesterday, we were delighted to attend the Good Shepherd Mass with @FatherHudsons and 31 other schools from across the archdiocese. Together, we offered thanksgiving for the incredible charitable work happening in schools and at the hands of the wonderful Father Hudson's team.
Happy Easter Monday!
During his homily for the Easter Men’s Mass, Fr. Gerry spoke about the steadfast hope of all Christians. We no longer need to fear the tomb, since by dying, Christ destroyed our death and by rising, He restored our life! https://t.co/ubOSv46Txe
On Tuesday, all Year 10 students participated in a full-day retreat, themed around John 6:33: "The bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." We were delighted to welcome visitors from Stories of Hope and Home, @FatherHudsons and @TenTen_UK!
A blessed and happy Easter Sunday!
Our Lord and Brother, You conquered because You entrusted Yourself to the Father, because You placed Yourself into His hands. Jesus, my Friend and Brother, help me to entrust myself, to place myself into the hands of Your Father and our Father. Help me to go beyond, far beyond, to arrive where You are. Help me to live Your Risen Life!
Amen.
Today on Good Friday, we are invited to a deep solidarity with our suffering Saviour and, alongside him, our suffering world.
We pray 🙏
May we be witnesses to your great love, revealed in the cross. Amen.
