it took me until today in the movie theater to realize ribbit is called ribbit because she's a frog like seriously i had to hear someone sitting next to me say her name to get it
either way I'm really grateful for Gooseworx and Glitch being so committed to this project and forever changing the landscape for indie animation, this will always be the biggest take away from this show and something to be celebrated for years to come
such an underwhelming ending for TADC for me unfortunately, it was definitely a ride, I'm grateful for everything this show has done for indie animation, but yeah I can't lie to myself and say I truly enjoyed it
Im most confused about the idea some people have that Crowley and Aziraphale rewriting the Book of Life would've been the perfect ending, genuinely curious about what they got from this story and these characters that suggests they'd like to play God and that this was the message
I think we should be inspired by Crowley and Aziraphale and give the people who made the show our best, specially since we already know they did not get their fair shot at it, for reasons completely out of their control
also you may not like the ending because it's not what you hoped for or because of its bittersweetness, but I really think you'd be wrong to say it was badly written or unfaithful to the original message and I think that's a very important distinction to make
man such bad vibes we all know how dedicated everyone involved in making good omens is and has always been, it's totally ok if you didn't like the ending but I'm sure all of them did everything in their power so it would be the best possible one, don't just shit on these people
@rtalalay I personally thought that their ending and everything about it was beautiful and the most fitting it could ever be for these characters and this story, I know how hard everyone involved worked to give us this finale and it's clear you poured your hearts into it, thank you so much

the aspect ratio change got rid of the boundaries at the top and bottom. up and down. heaven and hell aren't restricting them anymore. god I love this

for anyone who's too saddened by the finale, maybe it's helpful to think of their wish not as erasure of their universe for the creation of a different one, but as their own universe rebooted without Heaven and Hell from the start, it has all the same implications+
of the canon finale but maybe wording it like this helps, it's not that everyone had to die, they all got to exist in this rebooted universe in the way they should have, without any Heavenly or Hellish influence, maybe it's still sad no one would have their memories, but think +
