@Doug_Palmer She’s a studio darling and the new Nick Fury it would seem. Just Feige reminding you that she’s here to stay and will be a major player going forward. It’s pretty weak, though, to have her flexing her status on Spidey when she didn’t show up until after he’d fought Thanos.

Good: The most “Spider-Man” Spider-Man movie since TASM2. Spider-Man spends a *lot* of time in his mask!!

Bad: Angry female antagonist does horrible, wanton things but can’t be held morally culpable because *she’s been wronged* trope

@Doug_Palmer Seeing a lot of this sentiment around. I’ll be interested to see if this manifests in a noticeable decline in the PS brand, long term. Maybe the ball-and-gun casuals will still carry them, maybe not.

Yeah, I’m out. There’s no incentive to even keep one foot in the PlayStation ecosystem when PC offers so much more freedom and versatility (not to mention, performance).

Maybe if Sony hadn’t neglected backwards compatibility all these years, I’d have a reason to stay invested.

I don’t get it, man. If I were handed a beloved franchise to adapt, I would not be ego-tripping this hard. I’d have a sense of duty and stewardship to the IP and its fans. If you’re this put out with the inherent creative restrictions and expectations, make your own damn IP.
