Musician, Teacher, Composer & Family Guy. I follow to learn and to laugh.
🍀♟🎼 #Reality.
I never block opposing views only abusive behavior & insane ppl.
I'm old enough to remember 1979 and onwards.
The Iranian theocratic regime (and its many proxies) has never been a non-threatening state.
Large parts of its population have been vigorously supporting the regime.
But again another large part (most?) of its population oppose it with a determined fervor and courage in the face of certain death.
Very few, if any, of western leaders/states have managed or even attempted to deal effectively with this global (not just regional) menace.
The political impotence has been embarrassingly obvious.
Only this current US administration have tried to engage with the issues.
Its success on this matter needs to be evaluated later in its totality.
Is there a stronger word for lying?
This politician lies heavily in his first 3 sentences.
By omission yes, but it is an egregious lie.
Being armed with a gun and (as testified) pointing it at another kid, is quite essential to the tragic circumstances.
We're (the non-conforming public) constantly being castigated for alleged lies, misinformation, disinformation, malinformation etc.
When a public servant (politician) blatantly lies to the people, shouldn't there be a measurable consistent consequence administered?
Perjury is after all considered a serious offence.
This is incitement.
Cyrus Belton was 14 years old. He was shot. The man who killed him was acquitted.
For many Black Americans, the acquittal in this case reopened wounds that stretch across generations and raised painful questions about justice, accountability, and the value placed on Black life.
From Trayvon Martin to Tamir Rice, the names change, but the questions remain.
Last week, Karmelo Anthony, a Black teenager who was bullied, was convicted not of manslaughter but first degree murder. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Many are left asking what these vastly different outcomes reveal about accountability, race, and the way justice is experienced in America.
We mourn Cyrus, stand with his family and loved ones, and recommit ourselves to the ongoing pursuit of justice and healing.
Completely useless and irrelevant "paper".
"This machine (made by humans) can lift 1000tons.
No human can do it, therefore humans are weak"
"This car (made by humans) can drive 300km/h.
No human can do that, therefore humans are slow".
"This computerprogram (made by humans) can calculate faster than any human.
Therefore humans are stupid".
This human know how to turn off the switch ...
The deliberate 'misappropriation' of terms like far right is part devious strategy and simultaneously part desperate tactic.
It introduces, assisted by careful long term indoctrination, a kind of cognitive confusion, particularly effective on the young unsuspecting mind.
Adults are by no means immune!
A pinch of ideologically targeted persuasion-technique, paired with lack of basic knowledge in subjects like history - biology etc, is fertile ground for any wannabe 'controller'.
The 'desperate' part hinges on the fact, that they have no other argument than trying to (falsely) discredit the opponent with a ludicrous accusation.
Dogs and bells.
Ivan Pavlov would be proud.
@oresundsbaron@Steveauveau Gu' ved om de udfører kognitive tests inden folk bliver optaget som politi-aspiranter?
Eller måske er deres *anti-selvstændig-tænkning* program så effektivt at det slet ikke er nødvendigt!?
There's a distinct difference between dressing up for fun as some spooky character for halloween, or going out dressed up as the opposite sex while claiming you really are that sex.
And furthermore expecting/demanding everyone else acknowledge your delusion.
One is harmles fun we all can relate to.
The other is definitely a psychological condition in need of real treatment, not validation.
