@brian_is_tired @Welnesschick Cancer pts ARE vulnerable pts you absolute clown. Most of them don’t have an immune system when getting chemo. Even worse, before the pandemic ppl DID mask in these instances.

It’s not a “shared decision” when healthcare “professionals” decide to risk ppl from the get go.

@naud_alexandre9 @rglucks1 The woman was from my city, just moved out of it. I am torn up. So many officials and random ppl trying to convince ppl that she was in the wrong. The US has gone so far that the bar is in hell right now. It is not safe to travel here. It is not safe to do a lot of things here.

@1goodtern One of my good friends is in the hospital here in my city (Kansas City) bcus she’s
sick & while she tested neg for covid, they said her lungs were ground glass &she has bilateral pneumonia so bad she can’t get up. I’m TERRIFIED for her. Covid messed her so bad in 2020 & then LC

@1goodtern This is me, a POTS patient, being utterly 100% unsurprised.

Also, in America, just because there are POTS specialists, it doesn’t mean they are close by or even in network insurance wise. So a person would have to pay more. &don’t get me started on how few docs understand MCAS.

@SnirAnna73532 @1goodtern And that aligns with my experience— docs kept looking for orthostatic hypotension and gaslighting me for not having the drop in blood pressure. I had to keep telling them “look at what my heart rate is doing”/“what is my heart rate doing?”

@DaniBeckman @1goodtern They said that my dad has that going on as well as damage from a previous stroke they didn’t know he had and now they’re talking that it might be a form of vascular Parkinson’s.

@1goodtern I recently set up a bird feeder in my yard and have added a hummingbird feeder to it. The Merlin app informs me that I have dozens of species in my yard. But the bluebird is too skittish to come too close to the part of the feeder that the male cardinal thinks that he owns.

@1goodtern It could even plausibly in some scenarios be all 3, which means people can have allergy symptoms and write off their covid symptoms until they get worse. Which means more spread.

@1goodtern &… even worse, due to climate change our pollen season is longer & uglier, & all the deregulation means that they will pollute the air, which will also negatively affect us. So it becomes a trifecta of “is it bad air quality, is it pollen bomb from super weeds, or is it Covid?”

@ChrisAlvino One mask that works for me and husband both is the Wellbefore pro KN 95, which reminds me that I have to order more soon.
