No. In the novel, Sentinels are people, so their audits get rechecked at random and scored. Ours reads bytecode, so there's nothing to recheck. Anyone can rerun it and get the same 1.90%.
We built the part anyone can check. Code gets priced, holders burn to vote, and the treasury buys on chain.
Chapter 1 of Vitalik's Snowmoon has a tax table. A building pays a 1.00% base land tax, with more added for aesthetics and other rules.
We took that table seriously.
We went through 4,224 tokens paired with USDG on Robinhood Chain, found the 192 official stock tokens, and read their code. Every one points to the same beacon.
On a fork of the chain, we flipped its pause switch. NVIDIA, Tesla and Apple stopped together. We put a wallet on its blocklist. It couldn't move any of them.
So we gave each stock a row in our own table. A 1.00% base, plus 0.25% for pause, 0.30% for upgrades, 0.20% for blacklisting and 0.15% for minting. All 192 came out at 1.90% in our table. The treasury is funded by fees on every $STEER trade.
Holders burn $STEER to choose a stock twice a day. When the vote closes, anyone can trigger the treasury's buy. It reverts if the stock received is worth less than 99% of the amount spent, using Chainlink prices.
We tried to cheat it with short fills, routes that returned nothing, and fee claims slipped into the middle of a buy. It refused every one.
It started with a tax table in a novel.

In Vitalik's Snowmoon, Sentinels audit businesses against the rules set by the Order of Steering. Almost nothing is banned.
We started by reading the code behind Robinhood Chain's stock tokens. All 192 share a beacon that can pause transfers and block wallets across every one of them.
Steer puts those powers into a public tax table. Every company pays 1.90%.

Hi, we're Steer.
Vitalik's novel Snowmoon has a country that bans almost nothing and taxes instead. We built its tax office on Robinhood Chain.
