@yntkid@thomsonrichardg The CEO of cotopus already told us if we had regional pricing, Scotland would have the cheapest energy in Europe. With cheap energy, we would draw a lot of manufacturing to the country, not only that but with business there is taxes. It's a no brainer.
@yntkid@thomsonrichardg Nuclear costs more to build and comes with greater risk.
What we ideally need investment in is battery farms/energy storage.
Once Scotland can regulate its own energy pricing, it can flourish.
@JamboAldo@thomsonrichardg When we say it's ours, we mean the tax revenue from it should be going to Scotland, not westminster.
No reasonably headed person wants this union any more.
We had a vote and continued to vote for an independence supporting government. Silly sausage.
@DW8530@thomsonrichardg The Scottish Government can regulate the suppliers in the way the UK government should if Scotland were independent.
Lets just let westminster with thier pretend regulation keep ripping us off though, becuase... Union or something.
It’s Scotland’s energy and it should be in Scotland’s hands, not Westminster’s because for every day it is, is another day of Scotland’s potential wasted.

Seriously?
Scotland is going to be charged £1 billion for the privilege of suppling energy to England?
And then we get charged the highest rate
FFS, Westminster is really taking the proverbial.
Muscular unionism at is most vicious.
We need #ScottishIndependence
FROM 'SABOTAGING SCOTLAND'
"Gareth, successive UK governments and their civil servants running Scotland have blocked a whole series of international port and shipping developments that would have placed Scotland firmly on the global map, doubling our trade and current ‘colonial level GDP’ too.
They include: Ardersier port, Scapa Flow container port, Hunterston container port, European Gateway Port for ferries and cruise ships at Cockenzie, building of 50+ proven design catamaran ferries under license on the Clyde, plus starting extensive multi-vessel riverbus operations on Forth, Clyde and elsewhere.
All these initiatives and more were blocked one way or another by our colonizer and their ‘little helpers’." Prof Alfred Baird
🚨Four out of the six arrested #FarageRiot-ers only turn out to be Reform UK councillors. Great work by @YoungBobRB aiding the police with some great footage!!!

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train.
But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK.
Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.
