Imagine you vibe code your throwaway App and have to put it as an unlisted App onto the App Store for you and your friends to try it

Imagine building a hyper personalized App for you and your partner and you can't put it on the App Store because it's too personalized. And you absolutely need to add Org + User management because you need to give Apple a test account to play around in it.

Imagine you now have to install a Profile or do random MDM solutions because otherwise you can't get your App on your family's devices without also putting it on the App Store (even unlisted) or do some Beta TestFlight hacks.

ok so I vibe coded a throwaway app today and it literally requires:

- the email, first name and last name of an "internal tester"
- they actually need a role, like "marketing manager", meaning i misuse a role that was actually intended to be "your internal company colleague" for external users, just to not need an apple review
- then if they install TestFlight
- then if they accept the email invite
- then i can finally push my app to them

and this limits me to at most 100 users. and i can't even just share an invite link with them. i need their emails and invite them myself

Fun fact, the EU requires Apple to allow third party App Stores (AltStore for example). So you could theoretically solve vibe coding onto your iOS for you and your friends at scale, but just not in the US.

I was thinking about how the EU might "be back" once AI is used across all industries, as following regulations might be easier with AIs.

Can imagine that a highly regulated market is friction for humans because they have to navigate through all the rules, but if all endpoints are AI driven and fast, it's actually more manageable.

I might be wrong thought what do I know
