These are Indian black pond turtles which are commonly found in freshwater bodies. They are primarily carnivorous in their early stages of life, feeding on a variety of π, fish π, and carrion.
The scientific name for the process of a snake shedding its skin is ecdysis the process involves the snake shedding its entire outer layer of skin. Few factors on why the shed: age π, weather and temperature βοΈπ‘οΈ, nutritional healthπ and the presence of bacteria or parasitesπ¦ .

Big one-red sand boa & the small one-common sand boa. Both the species are non-venomous & they constrict their food. These boas are nocturnal & spends the majority of its time under the ground.
