Earlier today, I met with the Minister for Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson (@Cassielforson), who assured me and showed me the work done so far regarding our salary issue. Rx’22 is grateful for your keen interest and the work done on the matter thus far.
We look forward to hearing from the Ministry of Health soon.
Let me put it exactly how I received the message.
Someone in the Ministry of Health is allegedly sitting on our documents and refusing to process them, delaying our payments. If this is true, it’s very unfair — both to us and to the Minister of Finance who’s pushing to get this sorted.
I don’t want to believe it, because I honestly can’t understand why any well-meaning Ghanaian would do such a thing.
Hello Sir @KMAkandoh, kindly look into this for us.

I plead with H.E John Dramani and finance minister Dr Ato Forson that even as they take steps to pay arrears owed national service personnel , attention should be given to the teaming Doctor of pharmacy houseofficers who have not been paid for a whole year
Have mercy on them!
I just read that President John Mahama has cleared the NSS arrears. Good news!
Please, the 320 pharmacists have still not been paid. Kindly sort this out for us too @JDMahama 🥺

To set records straight, Pharm D house officers categorize salaries as allowances hence the confusion of allowance not been paid and salaries paid is a very false claim. If you need a better understanding of the situation, kindly engage Dr. Nsiah Asare to better inform the public.
Good morning @DrEAmoakoh
I barely do this but this is a very sensitive issue we've been working on for months without a headway.
I carefully listened to your submission on ghone and the assumption PharmD houseofficers have been paid is very false.
The background and trajectory of events leading to government’s failure to pay Rx 2022 house officers. This was 5 months back and the story is the same.
They are not asking for too much. Just pay what is due them.

'This is not only a financial issue, this is a matter of human dignity issue'
A total of 320 Pharmacy Doctorate (Pharm D) degree holders are threatening to sue the Ministry of Health over its failure to secure financial clearance for their 12-month allowance.
Jeremy Owusu Afrifa, one of the Conveners of the group addressed the media on behalf of the 320 Pharmacy Doctorate (Pharm D) graduates. #CitiNewsroom
We’re still on this!! Doctors of Pharmacy have still not received even a month’s allowance after completing their mandatory housemanship.
The Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP Dr. Bawumia says he’s not aware of their struggles and their unpaid allowances.
Tomorrow, join.
