Really impressed by the clips of JD Vance from this week. Incredibly talented and a very gifted communicator. And he’s actually a conservative. More than can be said (on all of the above points) about most Republicans.
@marcthiessen@bungarsargon You need boots on the ground to deal with Iran. Hegseth, Rubio snd all know this. The right is advocating for boots on the ground. Their voters are against it. After all Trump has to worry about the midterms
@EWErickson@bungarsargon If you were president, how would you explain to the public that we need boots on the ground to deal with Iran? An overwhelming is against any military involvement in the Middle East and on the orders of Bibi
@atrupar@bungarsargon Yet he is right. Israel’s actions, however justified, turned the world against her thanks to the propaganda machine of the UN, NGO’s and Qatar’s funded universities and medias
Trump was repeatedly warned, by his own generals, intelligence services, and allies, about the real cost and complexity of this war.
He chose to ignore those warnings, rushed in, mismanaged the campaign, and eventually signed a humiliating deal.
Blaming others for the outcome of your own decisions is both unfair and beneath the office of the President.
@bungarsargon No I don’t think so. I think by going on Megyn Kelly he is doing it to himself. I was up in the air about 2028, but this pushed me closer to going all in on Rubio
Mr. President,
The pager operation against Hezbollah was a masterpiece of modern warfare. Israel also executed a brilliant 12-day operation against Iran that left the regime in shock, its top generals assassinated, and the Ayatollahs held by the throat.
Yet every time Israel had momentum, whether in Gaza, Lebanon, or against Iran, you personally intervened and stopped them at the worst possible moment.
you were personally briefed by Mossad that defeating Iran would take at least a year of consistent pressure. Yet you pushed for quick results, changed the original plan, and turned what could have been a strategic victory into a strategic defeat.
Now, after signing a humiliating deal that buried the Iranian nuclear threat instead of eliminating it, you come out blaming Israel for taking too long and for how it fights.
The question of civilian casualties should be addressed to Hezbollah, not Israel. Hezbollah deliberately operates from within populated civilian areas, using civilians as human shields and endangering their own people.
This strategic failure is not due to Israeli incompetence. The main problem has been your repeated intervention and bad timing.
You don’t get to sabotage the campaign and then blame Israel for the results.

The people who lost their minds over Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker getting banned from the UK over free speech are mysteriously mute about Starmer’s new assault on free speech
Meanwhile, @JackPosobiec never said a word about any of Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson or Candace Owen’s attacks on President Trump or their lies about his so called “friend’s” assassination.
How come you don’t call that out? It’s interesting to me…
Your friends target Trump everyday. But you defend it.
