The risk of bringing them back was tainting their story and original conclusion which is exactly what bo7 did.

Budget cuts were made due to popularity and not because the game was necessarily bad, that’s why we have a lot of missed content. Also “people loved 3/8 maps” is an appeal which is a logical fallacy. I’d argue 5-6/8 maps were objectively good and better than bo7
