1. Writing is fun.
2. Writing is especially fun if working with a bunch of smart and talented coauthors.
3. Writing doesn't need a lot of time. It is possible to squeeze in half an hour per day, just to keep progressing.

Recap of two weeks of writing: The document with some jumbled ideas now almost looks like a full-grown manuscript and it was really motivating and fun to continually work on this project and watch the progress. So what are my learnings from this challenge?

So, writing challenge, day 10: Today was tough! I worked on the introduction today, trying to fill some gaps in the theory. The intro is definately my least favorite section to write. And to make things worse, @Navajoc0d3 raised the stake yesterday...

Alright, writing challenge, day 9: Today was a lot of editing and revising. As @SelinaWeiss14 today very wisely stated: Revising is so much easier, when you wrote something in the first place.

So, personal summary after 5 days of writing for at least an hour every day: Honestly, this is super fun. And I have to admit, all those self-help writing books were right: Just do it.

Day 2 and 3 of my writing challenge were also quite successful. With the help of my coauthor @KriJanko, the method section came to life and the document starts looking like a solid paper draft.

Day 1 of my writing challenge leaves me with 1,100 words - mainly a collection of loose sentences of which probably none will make it to the final version of the paper. But it's definately nice not to stare at a blank page anymore.
