This is IMPORTANT. You never know what a student is struggling with outside of your classroom. A situation like this could be more than what it appears. Second chances make a world of a difference sometimes. #GEN2108
A kid fell asleep during a quiz. I encouraged him to wake up and work, but he refused. At the end of the day, he asked if he could finish the quiz tomorrow. At first, I thought ABSOLUTELY NOT, but then I remembered that second chances are more important than proving my point.
It’s Monday! Today let’s:
1. Attack this day with enthusiasm
2. Stay positive
3. Be thankful
4. Replace “Have to” with “Get To”
5. Be a blessing to others (even if it’s from a distance)
Couldn’t agree more! During this time teachers have to remember the distractions and responsibilities in households that aren’t present in the classroom! #GEN2108
I just watched a quick EdPuzzle video of a classroom practicing Global Collaboration where a class in Italy video chats a class in Ireland! Pretty cool activity for students of a younger age #GEN2108
@toriellis1027 Completely agree! I’m so excited to be a role model to students who need guidance and support. When it comes to stigmas like these, passion outweighs all 🤓💗 #GEN2108
Why Are Teachers Leaving The Profession?
•Inadequate preparation for new teachers
•Lack of support
•Class sizes
•They are worked to the bone
•Low salaries
•Little to no recognition
•Their time isn’t respected
•Better opportunities elsewhere
MUST DO BETTER #EdChat
