Actors: The Lou Stein Studio is in an inclusive environment where neurodiverse actors take the lead. There are regular tranches at Theatre Deli where my methodology is used to inspire creative approaches to characterisation. If this could be of interest to you let me know.
Forty years ago this year (sorry you’ve missed it by a few years). This fun-raiser celebrated the creation of a ground-breaking sister theatre to the Gate, Notting Hill- The Gate at the Latchmere. I hope that a new magic can found for the current incarnation of the Gate Theatre.
Exciting week ahead for Venus Blazing Music Trust @KingsPlace@SunnyandShay@BBCRadioLondon@RCMLondon Summer School with young people with Down syndrome starts tomorrow until Friday 26th.Had a conversation with Shay Grewal about this earlier this month getting the work out.
An enjoyable evening with @mike_kelson watching 'Mad Cow' musical by @quaestiopro at @garlingetheatre Kent. Music was beautiful & a thought provoking theatre piece. This pro vegan theatre is newly opened by @AlisonHarrisUK & partner Terry. This musical supported that ethos 🐄🐮
Great discussion with Deirdre Gribbin and #shaykaurgrewal@BBCRadioLondon about the role small charities like Venus Blazing Music Trust play within the larger charity ecosystem. And why government support for small charities at this election time is important to the UK as a whole.
I enjoyed talking to #shaykaurgrewal@BBCRadioLondon about Venus Blazing Music Trust @KingsPlace in the context of Small Charity Week. Would love to talk more in-person about the impact small charities like ours have on bigger things.
@GribbinDeirdre @LibDemPress If you are a part of a family who cares for a person who needs support, you’ll get this. Move social care up the agenda. Even if party leaders don’t get it (yet) there are a lot of voters who do.
Very pleased to be invited to be an expert panel speaker at the Educators’ Trust Summer Event 2024 Mental Health in Education — Inspiring Solutions.
I was pleased to be able to represent the importance of performing arts engagement within education for the neurodiverse community.
Just put the political circus aside and listen to these heartfelt and moving words which echo the fears of millions of us. Keep social care high on the agenda.
'One of my biggest fears in life is what happens to him when I'm gone.'
