yoooo yo yo I forgot to tell y’all last week - I discovered that Google has an entire website/dashboard service dedicated to allowing users to download *nearly all* of their data across *all* apps and services connected to their Google accounts.

so that basically means we have the follow personal data archives from which to map our cognitive and linguistic fingerprints.

- twitter
- meta / fb / instagram
- chatgpt and anthropic historical data
- as much of our cell phone comms as we feel like going thru the hassles of acquiring from our cellular providers
- as much of the same from our ISP’s
- our complete digital fingerprints for everything we’ve ever done through our Gmail accounts (the most noteworthy one aside from the obvious, in my opinion, is YouTube watch history and attention metrics)

this is literally beyond excessive in the best way. what has given me the biggest headache lately has been creating different “recipes” of my personal data, iteratively figuring out which forms and sources, when combined, yield the most effective and accurately distilled ‘essence’ of me. it might seem or feel like it would be pretty obvious or easy to figure out, but you’d be surprised how much variation there can be based on not just which sources you choose to combine, but also in how much weight is assigned to each.
