@sogsupreme Specifically today, Kessler. Got a fair few shouts last year. Didnβt want it to seem like I was digging her out individually, as there are numerous examples of it pretty much every year IMO.
Does make me laugh, year after year, a random player with a pretty low-margin game style comes on the scene, has a good result against a big player (usually top 10) and then people proceed to crown them as having top 10 potential themselves
Badosa might be close to calling it quits. Already going to need a WC for Miami (is she even IMG?) and unless she takes another 6 months out, sheβs likely going to need to qualify for slams.
Mboko needs to hit some loopy line FHβs high to Muchovaβs BH. It goes against her natural game, but itβs Karoβs no.1 weakness. Sheβs much better at redirecting flat balls on that side than people give her credit for (think the break point in set 1).
Look at how easily she was able to absorb that BH return on championship point (I know it wasnβt strictly a redirect, but flat trajectory was still the same from Mboko).

If you go line while being that attacking with your 2nd serve return, you have to come to the net. Virtually no chance of recovering to the baseline in time
