I’m unsure why Germany and the other European core states are opening their borders. That should only be the case, if all the countries have 0 cases of COVID-19? Otherwise, I can imagine the numbers to rise up again.

I think the problem with being the youngest sibling is that your parents don’t really allow you to grow up. Because that means that they are old. And that’s on that.
