After the Olympics, I was super nervous there, I thought there wouldn’t have been any competition that would make me as nervous but this one does. There was no big mistake, but I couldn’t reach 70. I tried to do my best with what I had.
congratulations to alysa btw. i’m glad that the olympic champion is someone who embodies a healthy attitude towards skating and i hope her story sets an example that you dont need to go through hell in order to be a successful figure skater
@axelloopcombo not in a rude way at all to you but a big mistake on a combo + combo spin V was really bad for her. her 145 and over skates were just her skating better
@aidinnie00@ReenieOnIce idk i’m a bit neutral on amber currently but the original convo was more about how i feel the podium was fair, skating clean should be rewarded. if ami and kaori were clean they would’ve placed higher simple as that
@aidinnie00@ReenieOnIce amber had clean triples so i personally disagree. mistakes like hers unfortunately effect pcs because pcs are not independent from tech which is honestly a whole other argument and critique
figure skating twt has me in tears as a former skater like it’s so obvious they call anyone not their fav “overscored” and don’t understand how UR calls work. plus how mistakes = lowered pcs like learn how the sport actually works I BEG YOU
