🧵Hollywood Execs Took a 51% Raise in 2025
Our @thewrap analysis of Hollywood exec salaries came out today, and it’s a doozy: the top 18 execs got 51% raises in 2025, even as the industry lost 17,000 jobs.
Nearly 30 journalists gone from NPR’s newsroom in a mix of buyouts/layoffs attributable to public media’s defunding and the ever-tightening squeeze so much of the industry is under these days. Really stings, so many talented journalists cut loose.
