i sat there and meticulously measured out every ingredient and serving for that soup, but it was so delicious and filling that im scared there's 10,000 more calories lurking in there somewhere.
my meal prep is going to be 93c over my limit, however, i do consider my macros to be more important, and im still in a considerable deficit. i also feel as though ive recovered from my illness enough to start walking again. so 12k steps will help tons.
the soup turned out so good! it isn't the most low cal but it's okay. it's worth saving my cals around. 487c and 21g of protein. best macros? no. but it still shocked me that I got 21g from a lil soup.
i came home, started a load of dishes, and now im in the middle of cooking my broccoli cheddar soup. i feel so much better than i would have if i came home and just laid down honestly. pouring love into myself IS resting. period.
was on the train of thought of "well work was rlly shitty, i just won't cook/clean when i get home" but i need to stick w/ the plan not the mood. im reframing it as "work being bad is not a reason to neglect myself. in fact, it is more reason to lock in and take care of myself."

it's kinda dead at the office, so my coworker and i are coming up with different oat recipes. my next endeavor is going to be cinnamon tea oats with stewed apples and caramel.
