was neutral on it til i vended next to one at FWA. bro was trying to get people looking at my table to look at his instead. like? a guy asked if something i had was cult of the lamb, i said no, non furry vendor says “OH I have cult of the lamb stuff over here!!” hello????
Not to start the discourse-of-the-week, but what's your opinion on non-furry vendors in con spaces? I understand sometimes there's overlap but I'm not personally a fan of how generic comic-con vibey some vendor halls have become
@tail_ends yup! sent him a dm post con telling that it wasn’t cool and watch out for that whenever he tables next. he proceeded to basically say “well i have cult of the lamb stuff, you didn’t girl. don’t blame your bad sales on me.”
hey yall, gonna go ahead and say that fwa was my last time vending in any capacity. i don’t have the passion for it anymore and can’t justify the time, money, or energy it requires of me anymore. thanks to those who have supported me. i won’t stop making art, but yeah
fwa may not have been everything i wanted it to be, but going to get groceries immediately after and experiencing that feeling of being the “freak” that everyone stares at again made me appreciate the con a lot more. i always feel normal at a con, im going to miss that a lot
well color me wrong. loads of people sexually assaulted, someone stabbed, people robbed, i could go o-
wait all this happened IN the con?? oh yeah ok that makes more sense
seeing a ton of discourse already on “omg walking in ATLANTA to get to dealers? so scary!!!” like if you’re that scared of atlanta, don’t come to fwa in the first place. i’ve walked around the city in pup hood i PROMISE you’ll be fine
