On 7th August 2021, STEM4KIDZ in collaboration with @gibacmw held an inform and inspire session at Chigumula CDSS
This interactive session gave our Chigumula CDSS STEM club an overview of IT and ICT, differences between the two and the career paths in each of the two.
Today,60 students from STEM4KIDZ club at Chigumula CDSS were taught engineering project basics by our volunteers. A lot of team work was displayed as they also used this knowledge in building a bridge using materials STEM4KIDZ received from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

On 30th April 2021, STEM4KIDZ had an introductory meeting at Chigumula Community Day Secondary School.
Through this meeting the team registered 162 students to a STEM Club

Despite the pandemic and the pressure it has put on education, Stem4kidz today facilitated a fun activity at Chisaweni Primary school. We had a lesson on waste management, the environment and the 3 Rs . The club also planted a tree today.

STEM4KIDZ has registered 140 children from Chisaweni Primary school into a STEM club at their school. This number comes with 62 boys and 78 girls. The team looks forward to working with these amazing kids in enhancing their problem solving skills in science.
Today has been a greatday for #STEM4KIDZ. We were at Chisaweni primary school in Mpemba introducing our first #STEMclub to standards 6 and 7. It is always an amazing experience seeing children's faces beam in excitement.
