In a landmark initiative with far reaching futuristic implications, the Union Cabinet headed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi approved the BioE3 (Biotechnology for Economy, Employment and Environment) Policy of the Department of Biotechnology #DBT to foster high-performance biomanufacturing for a clean, green, prosperous, and self-reliant Bharat.
In a world facing pressing problems, the answers lie not just in what nature gives us but in how we reimagine biology itself. The future lies in transforming today’s consumptive manufacturing paradigm to the one based on regenerative principles. Today, marks an important step wherein @ICGEBNewDelhi in collaboration with the @DBTIndia, has established the country’s first state-of-the-art #Biofoundry at its campus. This pioneering initiative marks a significant milestone in advancing Synthetic Biology and Biotechnology Research in India.
