Notwithstanding the uncouth username.
This is actually a very good piece on the new Longhouse social media ban.
Those who ever attended a lockdown party AND didn't get caught will know, it requires agency and high IQ.
Which Boris Johnson & his office obviously failed on.
I find it hard to fathom what would have happened if I'd asked for the taxpayer to pay for my housing when I lived in China or Korea. It would not even compute as a request in their systems.
Lotta reading/streaming/scrolling alone and brunch/gym/hiking/dinner with their girlfriends and almost nothing else. Next to impossible life and dynamics to break in to as an outsider to her circles.
@JamiePastore9@sadvalueinvestr Lunch out £10
Two tubes £10
Dinner out/fresh groceries for a meal for one £15
Couple of drinks with dinner at a nice place £20
Fags/vapes £5
£60 gone before you've even had to pay entry somewhere, or if you're suckered into tips/service charge, or are trying to impress.
@sadvalueinvestr A large amount. I watch my peers throw their money away on takeaways, booze and drugs. Not that it's much better for me, either, but still...
"For the first time"?
Isn't this what council flats were?
FYI in Singapore they're limited quite strictly:
Demographics: You must be a citizen. Singles cannot rent alone and must be at least 35 to apply jointly with another single person. Both members of a family must be citizens.
Finances & Assets: The strict household income cap is $1,500 SGD/month, and you cannot own any local or overseas property. That's all income.
Living Conditions: Availability is restricted to small 1-room or 2-room flats, and tenancies are limited to short 2-year cycles subject to regular eligibility reviews.
More recently, a study found that Pakistanis dominate national grooming gang statistics. By comparing the number of prosecutions to the overall population it showed that 1 in every 2,200 Muslim men over 16 in England and Wales had been prosecuted for this crime from 1997 to 2017.
When it came to Pakistanis it was 1 in 1,700.
In Rochdale, 1 in 280 Muslim males over 16 were prosecuted.
In Telford, it was 1 in 126.
In Rotherham, 1 in 73.
ONE IN SEVENTY-THREE.
