New-car registrations for Tesla vehicles, a reflection of sales, jumped 46.5% YoY last month to 10,654 units across the European Union, the U.K., Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, according to the ACEA. In the EU alone, sales grew over 67% from a year earlier to 9,169 vehicles.

Nearly 30% of Cars Sold in 2026 Expected to Be Electric ⚡
According to the latest IEA Global EV Outlook 2026, global electric car sales are projected to hit 23 million this year, that’s close to 30% of all new cars sold worldwide.
EVs marching to eliminate ICEs and oil for cars
28% (23 mil) of all cars sold worldwide in 2026 will be electric.
This is an increase from 25% (20 mil) in 2025.
By 2035, ~510 million EVs will be on the road, about half of all passenger vehicles.
EVs will displace 5 million barrels of oil per day by 2030
